We are moving. Our whole office is in disarray! In this process we have all had to clean out and pack up our office furniture. The boss had the warehouse manager go to Costco and buy these plastic card tables. Kind of wobbly, and really much smaller than any desk that was previously here.
Our furniture has been moved to the new location as "phase 1" of the move. The plan is for us to take our own computer, phone and whatever else personal to the new office on our last Friday at this office. Since our furniture is already there we can set up our office and be ready to work on Monday after the move.
Meanwhile, we look like a ghetto dormitory set up. Some of us have taken empty boxes and turned them upside down to allow for axillary extra desk space.
Tammy usually keeps her printer on her desk. She had originally put it on her card table and when something was printing the entire "desk" moved side to side. She was holding her monitor so it wouldn't fly off. She also had a cup of coffee on her desk that was only half full and sloshing back and forth so much it almost spilled while printing! I suggested she put her printer on an empty box for now so she didn't have an earthquake on her desk each time she prints something!
Moving is so much fun!
